Montara Beach, CA

A sunny Sunday afternoon arrival in San Francisco left just enough time for a detour to Montara Beach before heading to the hotel. I was unsure if the weather would allow for a sunset without the fog rolling in, but I was in luck on this day.

I am a fan of jazz music and music produced on the Blue Note label is at the top of my list. A classic track from Bobby Hutcherson, named Montara, has been a favorite for decades. When listening to music, I always wonder how a song got its title. Mr. Hutcherson wrote this song specifically about Montara and also built his home in the area.

I simply had to see what inspired his creation and the GFX100RF helped me capture a brief moment.

PHOTOGRAPHIC NOTES
